Tell Us Your Story!
Do you have a great training story? Are you running for a cause? What's your motivation? Let us know! Every tale needs to be told, so we want you to share your Marathon or Half Marathon story. Who knows, your story may be featured on our website or even be part of the race day television coverage.
Submit your story to: JCarcich@gwsportsalliance.com
Volunteers Needed!
Interested in being a crew member for the only Marathon that calls DC its home?
Community events like the National Marathon don't happen without the dedication of volunteers. If you can support this event with your time, talents, and energy by helping at the Friday Health & Fitness Expo or during the Saturday races, please go to our Online Volunteer Registration to sign up for any of the listed jobs.
You can select as many spots as you are able to fill during race weekend (the system will tell you if you pick overlapping time spots). Group sign-ups are also welcomed and appreciated, and can be accommodated by contacting tbarry@gwsportsalliance.com.
Pass the word along to family, friends, and coworkers to join you, have a great time, and know you made the race a success for the runners and the charities! Thanks in advance for the generosity of your time and talents. We look forward to seeing you on race weekend!
